CHICAGO – October 22, 2007 – Invenergy Wind LLC (“Invenergy”) announced thesuccessful closing of construction and term debt financing for its 99 MW Forward Energywind farm in Dodge and Fond du Lac Counties, Wisconsin. The debt facility was co-underwritten by Dexia Credit Local and Nord/LB.
The Forward Energy project was the first wind project to be permitted through the StateCertificate of Public Convenience and Necessity (CPCN) permit process. The project iscurrently under construction and is expected to be completed in early 2008. Power will besold under long-term contracts with Wisconsin Public Service, Wisconsin Power andLight, Madison Gas and Electric and Wisconsin Public Power.
Major equipment includes 66 GE 1.5MW SLE wind turbines. White Construction will build foundations and erect the turbines and Michels Corporation will manage theconstruction of the project. The wind farm will be operated by Invenergy.
